Good Grub this Season

My family likes to get together and eat in a restaurant with comfort food at a reasonable price. Like my group of friends, we're always on a lookout for a good place to hang out and chill. So this Christmas Season, if you are still deciding on where to eat, and if your family or friends are like mine, I suggest you head on over to Filio Bistro.

Filio Bistro is one of the newest coffee shops in Antipolo, and they are located at HI-5 Arcade, Sumulong Memorial Circle, Brgy. San Jose, Antipolo City, Rizal. It's not a big place but the ambience is inviting and enough to be comfortable. Aside from the indoor and outdoor dining areas, they also have a function room that you can reserve for birthdays, gatherings, corporate functions and other events. Their decorations remind me of 70's Bistro in Quezon City, another place that I love.

Last week, I and friends went there to kill some time while waiting for the others to pick us up. Aside from a typical freshly-brewed coffee, their selection mostly consists of American dishes, like mouth-watering ribs, burgers, pasta, coffee and dessert. Most dishes are good for 2-3 people and the prices are affordable.

We tried some of their dishes, and we can safely say that the food is as good as the ones being served in T.G.I. Fridays. We unanimously agreed that all the food we tasted are "masarap" and "sakto lang sa budget". Here are some of the pictures of the dishes that we tried:

The s'mores has a crust and layered with chocolate brownies that gets melty and roasty marshmallows on top of it.  This is the s'mores everyone is always drooling and wanting for more!
